Palm Arts Dance opened its doors in September 2011, absorbing the long standing Telluride Dance Academy, and happily serving the many dance families in San Miguel County. 

The mission of the Palm Arts Dance Program is to develop a life-long love of dance, movement and physical fitness, to foster an appreciation of the art form, and to provide excellence in dance education.   

The Palm Arts Dance program provides two sessions of dance each school year – a fall performance session and a spring showcase session.  In addition, there are summer camp and intensive offerings, masterclass opportunities and integrated workshops.

The dance program operates in two well equipped studios located in the Telluride School District complex, and enjoys access to the Michael D. Palm Theatre and BoB Saunders Black Box Theatre.
