Kelsey has a life long passion for dance as she began taking studio dance classes at the age of 3. Growing up she practiced ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip-hop. She attended Mass College of Art and Design where she earned her BFA in Interrelated Media. Her undergraduate work focused largely around performance art, stagecraft, postmodern dance and creating shared experiences. During this time her dance practice shifted towards contemporary, fusion, contact improvisation, and African dance forms. She is passionate about sharing her love of dance and enabling others to expand their movement vocabulary. Kelsey has performed with the Adrienne Hawkins Jazz Repertoire in Cambridge MA, Epiphany Productions Sonic Dance Theater in San Francisco, and the Telluride Theater in Telluride CO. She is currently dancing and choreographing as a member of the Telluride Dance Collective.
